As a Photographer it is your secret wish that a Wedding day is blessed with overcast weather. This is for a multitude of reasons, but mostly because you get nicer shots. Not so on November 15th. The sun was out in force and not a cloud in the sky. To top it all off, it was very windy.
Melanie was a friend from a few years back and had since moved to Melbourne where she had met (and fallen in love with) Jonathan. The wedding took place in the lovely St Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Brighton and the Reception at The Brighton Savoy. Since I was there as a guest and not ‘on the job’, I was able to play around with a few new ideas and even managed to get my under-used Fish-Eye lens out.
